I was searching FLICKR (I think ACADEMY AWARDS) one day a while ago and all these great celebrity shots came up. The photographer: ALAN LIGHT.
I do not know exactly how he was a part of many famous award shows over the years, but I suspect he may have been working for a studio. He’s certainly NOT a PAPARAZZI.
He considers a lot of his work as historically significant so he allows you to use his work for free and simply credit him.
